I am a 21st century wife and mom in our fast paced life. I do it all and then do it all over again the next day (sound familiar?). I have a little bit of Welsh, German and French in me (somehwere!). I love high heels, cooking gourmet food, and traveling, and you might say I have a bit of a daredevil in me...I've been skydiving twice! I channel Doris Day and Lucille Ball in my day to day life and like to have fun, look fabulous and laugh at my frequent faux-pas's.
I was born in New Hampshire, and raised in quiet upstate New York with grass, trees and cows. I love to grow flowers and plants, smell the rain and watch thunderstorms roll in. I love how quiet it is after a fresh snowfall, I love cherry coke, french fries, sushi, make-up, and dancing. I love dressing up and looking fabulous! One of my favorite emerging hobbies is writing and I have so much fun blogging and practicing my style. I love cooking easy, gourmet food for my family and channel the energy of classic French inspiration in my kitchen
I married my amazing husband Kristoffer August 17th, 2006, and our daughter Marin was born in August 2008. Our little boy, Owen was born in February of 2011 and is the sweetest little guy and mommy could ask for! I can't tell you how in love I am with my family! I miss my hubby when he goes to work, and my heart aches when I have to leave my little childrenl and go to work myself. They mean everything to me, and I am proud to be a wife and mom.
I love to get on a plane and just....go, I've been to numerous states here in the U.S., and Kris and I traveled to Bermuda, and the Bahamas on our honeymoon. Last year, my amazing husband swept me off my feet for an incredible 10 day adventure to Paris, Stockholm and Oslo, Norway....sans children ;). Both of us are travel-aholics and hope to get the chance to travel even more in the future.
I chose nursing as my professional career, and work part time as a Registered Nurse doing in home pediatric home health care. Although I love being a nurse, I love being a mom even better, but finding balance between my two loves can be a challenge on some days.
My husband and I are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we believe in instilling solid principles into our children, and living a rich, wholesome life. We believe we have a loving Heavenly Father who has provided incredible blessings for us and a way to return to Him someday and for families to be together forever. There is no greater blessing than knowing I can live forever with my husband and children in the eternities!
My best days are spent taking care of my little girl, going to the gym, drinking lemonade, and making dinner for my family. Those days make me one happy girl. My tomorrow, starts....today!
